On average, nearly 20 people per minute are physically abused by an intimate partner in the United States. On a typical day, there are more than 20,000 phone calls placed to domestic violence hotlines nationwide.\nAs with all statistics, the actual numbers are much higher. We, as a society, aren’t doing enough to protect the vulnerable and voiceless victims of domestic and workplace violence.\n\nOn this episode of the Baby Steps Nutrition Podcast, Argavan speaks with Sabrina Osso, Founder and CEO of OSSO SAFE, a consulting company that provides training for residential properties, schools, and workplaces to promote personal safety and prevent violence.
