I have flown on the Qatar A380 a few times before but I was in economy on the upper deck which meant I could see the bar when the curtain was open during take off but never got to visit (so close yet so far!).\n\nMy journey starts at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) where unfortunately the Qatar Premium lounge was still closed (as was Terminal 1) so I was sent to the American Airlines Admirals Club instead - not quite the same experience...\n\nThe flight was around 6 hours to Doha (DOH) where I had a 3 hour connection before my onwards flight to Ho Chi Minh City (SGN) - or so I thought - watch till the end to find out what happens.\n\nI also have a look around the huge Al Mourjan Business lounge in Doha which is for business ticketed passengers only."}
