There It Is”. He started writing hip hop songs in the early 1990s. While DJ-ing in several clubs in Atlanta, he played Tag Team’s new song “WHOOMP! There It Is” and it got an enormous reaction. The song has an upbeat, positive message and became a dance favorite. WHOOMP subsequently was featured in a number of movies. Recently, the song and Tag Team were featured in a national commercial for GEICO in which the song was renamed “SCOOP! There It Is”. DC talks about the history of this song and hip hop in general, and how the GEICO commercial came to be and launched the song into orbit once again. \n\nRobert’s featured song in this episode is “Python” from the album PGS 7 by Robert’s band, Project Grand Slam.
