Ryan has been my coach for the last 4 months and before he was my coach we were working out in the same CrossFit Gym here in Melbourne Fl. \n\nWe get into Ryan's story about what first got him into Bodybuilding, how it was all a challenge to do something one of his friend's said was the \"hardest thing he has ever done\" Ryan loving the challenge was already hooked and became a multi year first place Men's Classic Bodybuilding Champ. \n\nRyan talks about what it takes as an athlete to succeed and how many people think its the cliche stuff out there what it really takes to succeed is patience, and to not overthink things too much, just stick to the plan and you'll see the results down the line.\n\nWe also talk about what he's learned as a coach and what we both see as a problem in the fitness industry when people focus too much on the methods of how to lose fat or gain muscle when they should be focusing on the principles! If you learn the principles there are hundreds of ways to facilitate the same outcome. \n\nRyan tells us his new physical endeavor this year is CrossFit and how that journey is compared to his Bodybuilding and Weightlifting days. On top of this we tackle the use of steroids in both spaces and how they can effect men and women in a positive way and negative way if overused. \n\nAnd lastly we get into some practical things all of us can start to focus on now during COVID-19 to Come out of this situation in a better place than where we started. Start to build the skill set of weighing your foods, knowing what certain portions sizes are and learning new food recipes!\n\nOverall I think there is a ton of value in this conversation between Ryan and myself and I hope you all enjoy it!
