He said: “Myriad Genetics is the first one of those to actually sign up with us to do a joint development program.”\n\nMyriad Genetics, which generates nearly $1 billion annually in revenue and employs around 2,700 staff, currently bases most of its diagnostic tests on tumour tissue. According to Newland, the move to apply these tests on circulating tumour cells offers important benefits such as repeat testing, easier patient access, and the potential for earlier cancer detection.\n\nHe highlighted that Myriad will cover the development costs, providing ANGLE with revenue during the process and opening up major commercialisation opportunities.
