Ryan Murphy explained that ProAxsis has repositioned as a commercial protease biomarker-led research company, providing kit sales, clinical services and bespoke R&D for pharmaceutical, biotech and research organisations using its patented ProteaseTag technology. The company is collaborating with six global pharmaceutical companies and supported development of Insmed's FDA-approved BRINSUPRI treatment for non-cystic fibrosis bronchiectasis.\n\nThe near-term priority is the Imperial College COPD study evaluating its NEATstik point-of-use diagnostic test. \"The Imperial College London study is a very important milestone study for our expansion plans into the COPD market, which has the potential to increase our revenue by order of magnitude,\" Ryan Murphy said. A successful outcome could also open the path to a future home self-test and entry into the regulated diagnostics market.\n\nFor more interviews with listed companies and market insights, visit the Proactive YouTube channel.
