He's also the creator and showrunner of Damnation, a  TV series about the labor wars in middle America during the 1930s that aired on the USA Network. He was also a writer and producer on the Western mystery series Longmire and was nominated for a WGA award for his work on The Terror: Infamy. He's the author of Johnny Cash's American Recordings, an entry in the 33 1/3 book series about classic music albums, and two poetry collections including Invisible Bride, winner of the 2003 Walt Whitman Award. Tost is a graduate of the University of Arkansas MFA program in Creative Writing. Along with his wife and two sons, he splits his time between Los Angeles and Fayetteville, Arkansas."}
