As a quick refresher, it reads:\n\nHebrews 11:1: \"Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.\"\n\nWe delved into the first part of this definition, focusing on \"Confidence in What We Hope For.\" Today, we embark on the second part:\n\nASSURANCE OF WHAT WE DO NOT SEE.\n\nThis facet of faith propels us further because it calls for action, an outward expression of our inward confidence. True faith doesn't merely rest in mental conviction but actively lives out that belief, even in the absence of physical proof.\n\nConsider Noah, who, when warned about the unseen—rainfall—acted with unwavering faith, constructing an ark to safeguard his family. His faith allowed him to perceive the invisible.\n\nHebrews 11:7: \"By faith Noah, when warned about things not yet seen, in holy fear built an ark to save his family.\"\n\nMoses, too, persevered because he saw the One who is invisible. His faith was founded on trust in God's unseen yet divine plan.\n\nHebrews 11:27: \"By faith he left Egypt, not fearing the king’s anger; he persevered because he saw him who is invisible.\"\n\nIn essence, by placing our faith in God, we choose to align our lives with Him, even though we have only glimpsed Him through the eyes of faith.\n\nJust as we exercise faith daily when we drink water from the faucet or trust in doctors and science, spiritual faith distinguishes itself. It springs from God through the Holy Spirit's work. Ephesians 2:8-9 reminds us that faith is God's gift to us.\n\nEphesians 2:8-9: \"It is by grace you have been saved through faith; and this not of yourselves, it is the gift of God.\"\n\nFaith grants us the assurance in what we cannot yet see, an unwavering trust in the ultimate Promise Keeper.\n\nThis is faith worth having, and the truth that empowers us to truly live!\n\nJoin us LIVE as we continue this enlightening journey into faith.
