Dr. Williams has played rook somewhere you would never guess. And he manages Williams Angus, which began in 1921 when his father bought a heifer and a few bulls for a 4-H project. Growing up, Dr. Williams always had to break even, at around $150, if he wanted to keep showing cattle. The cattle business as a grown up hasn't been much different. Now Williams Angus is one of the few farms remaining along Boones Creek Road in Jonesborough.\n\nVoices from the Archive is a monthly segment of StoryTown Radio. It shares stories from people living here, just how they told them. You might think of it as a news report that tells you about all sorts of things.
